Be sure and tune in to get the latest on all things Monsterpocalypse.

Kudos to you, Zach. That was one of the most evasive interviews I’ve heard from someone who wasn’t on the stand, and you kept your spirits up throughout.
@Jeff – yeah, he was pretty good at eluding the tough questions. I don’t harass guests either because I like the opportunity for them to come back. Hopefully we will get more from him next time. Good stuff there though.
I agree.
Mike is nothing less than The Artful Dodger on this. His reticence to reveal anything was almost palpable, and left me feeling awkward and dirty.
That guy is one tough cookie, didn’t give away ANYTHING. Ok, except some minor distribution info. You have a 1/6 chance to get a Super-rare instead of a Rare in a booster.
Darn no Savage Swarm Ubermonsters
Hey, I have an evil plan. TC should ask PP for a high-resolution version of that image of Big in Japan boosters that is on the Mpoc front page “for promotional purposes.” The second Ubercorp monster is shown on the side of the booster
Dang, got almost nothing out of that one.
All he did was avoid spoiler questions for the whole time. I don’t know… maybe next time talk more about design or something?
Will they make godzilla?
1 out of 6 isn’t so bad… rare enough that you won’t see a lot of them on the scene, but not so much that they’ll be nonexistent. Shame that Mike couldn’t throw us a single bone’s worth of info.
speaking of the promo picture of the boosters, you can pretty clearly see a shark monster for tritons
also he mentioned buzzing monster? bee for the swarm perhaps…
Probably the wasp that is fighting Mechathugrosh on the Unit Booster Box Art. And yes, I have tried fiddling with the boxart for an hour on Iaza.com but still couldn’t read it. I have reason to believe it is 2 words, with the first letter resembling a K/R, although that could be anything from King Robo to Robo Dax. Maybe someone here knows how to abuse Iaza better than me, tho.
We will getting plenty of spoilers. I think it’s still just a bit early honestly. They wanted to post an announcement to make sure everyone knew the set is honestly coming, but not spoils things three months in advance.
Too many direct questions about the details of the new sets, you scared him off. You’ve got to approach it more indirectly, talk about the design philosophy of the new set, what they were trying to do with the new unit types, what voids they wanted to fill, what things they’re trying to tone down, etc. Thay way they drop their guard about details a little bit.
Thanks for a awesome post and interesting comments. I found this post while searching for some song lyrics. Thanks for sharing this post.
