There will be All You Can Eat events during the day as well as demos if you have anyone you have been trying to hook on the game.
I’ve been to a couple conventions at this hotel and it’s a nice venue for a tournament with plenty of food options nearby.

Pass the information on to your players. If we get some regional competition we may need to spice things up with some interstate rivalries. I know the Chicagoland players are getting tired of beating on each other and are hoping to see some new faces.

This will be a GREAT con for Monpoc! Anyone in the area, be sure to make it out. Go hang out with fellow Monpoc players and show your support for the game! Don’t miss this opportunity.

I’m really leaning on the idea that I would make it up there. Depending on how another event goes for us, we might honestly be able to get some guys that way. If not, we’ll have to have updates from all of you that are attending!
Well… it’s not THAT far…
I’m just thrilled at the thought of some double monster fun as there are a lot of monsters I feel are mediocre in single play, but devastating in double (exhibit A: Rogzor). Just imagine how giddy Zach will become if he gets to play say… armodax with King Kondo (‘hi there global hit & run’…)
We might have to get a restraining jacket for him.
I’d love to go, but a possible two day commitment right now is just too much to ask of my free time. So you’ll have to just imagine that Mega Gakura and Mega Pteradax had a blast smashing everyone around.
Oh man, my parents live in the suburbs. Is there any way I’ll possibly be able to justify plane fare to get from NH to IL?
Jeff,
Yes. Yes there is.
12 hour drive…
Hrrg… contemplating…
Before you go too far on your army planning, there may be some minor format changes to get this event in line with what they did at TempleCon. The dates and location are locked though and there should be three days of Monster action. I know I’m going to be there for it. Hope to see you there.
