Well, well. We’ve been developing a new community site over the past year and it’s finally time for you to test it out. I will warn you that this is still only an Open Beta. We’ve got a big long laundry list of updates just waiting to happen. However, we’d like to hear from you first. After we’ve let everyone roam the community site for a week or two, we’re going to start having polls and asking you guys questions to see what updates to add first. We’re also hoping that you guys will contact us and give your ideas and suggestions.
Features of the community site include:
- Collection Manager – Never post a have / want list again!
- Deck Builder – Build your deck, write about it, and post it for the entire community to rank and comment on. Can your deck make it to one of the top 3 spots on the community site?
- Blog – Write about a strategy or tactics, a combo or a miniature, or even post a question. Then have the entire community rank your blog and answer your question. Will your blog ever be on the top 3 list?
- Chat – Yes forums are cool, but sometimes it’s just easier to chat. You can chat 1 on 1 or with a big group of people
- Groups – Maybe you have your own team or a playtest group, or maybe all the players in Minnesota want to have a space to communicate
- Trade – Once you have your have / want list on the site, our system automatically scans the rest of the site for people that have what you want and want what you have. Sit back, relax, and trade!
- Sell – Once you’ve loaded your collection on to the site, you can view a list of products we’re looking for and a list of products you can sell for cash or store credit to Covenant TCG.
- Socialize – Although gamers often get mislabeled as anti-social, most of us have more friends than the people who scrutinize us. Find friends all across the game that you play and follow them as they build decks, write blogs, update their profile, and manager their collection
