The amazing guys at Q Workshop have created a special set of engraved dice specifically for Monpoc. Check out the dice in the video below!
Special thanks to Q Workshop for all of their efforts! You can get to their website here.
You can track the creation of these dice in the official Monpoc forums here.
You can order these dice direct from Covenant TCG here.

Cannot wait until they go into production.
I had a full set too…
Personally, I don’t care for their design. I think the miss sides should still be blank, and the double strike sides should be much more distinctive than merely adding a word. I’d have to see these in actual play to really get a feel for how much of a help/hindrance they’ll be.
I’m not a big fan of the design either.
I would be fine if the Miss sides were engraved and not filled with paint. (still engraved because its prolly a balance issue or something.
Not a big fan of the choice of words, since you know… not everything is a melee attack -_- (few things seldom are actually)
And I don’t like the way the doublestrike is JUST a slightly bigger strike with two words in it. At a glance with the old ones you knew how much you had, with these it takes just a LITTLE bit more effort, but playing with your friends have enough distractions as is.
I like that they are a “little” bit bigger. The standard ones just seemed a bit small all along, especially with the way the maps are designed with their “dice slots”.
All that said, I will prolly be forced to buy these anyways. My luck with the PP dice has been horrindously bad. AND it’s just my white dice, the other ones are still GREAT! I also like the design, it’s simple yet elegant.
Seeing as they do custom engraving, if you could ensure good balance (which I’d imagine they put some sort of effort into that) why not get them to engrave it with the current superstrike/strike faces (leaving misses blank)? Personally, I think that’d be my preference, but I’m hoping I don’t wear out my dice for a while… although at least if I’m wearing out my dice it means I’m getting in plenty of play time.
Guys, you have to see these dice in person to appreciate them.
They are absolutely gorgeous, and the double strike and miss sides are so much more intuitive than I even anticipated.
I’m honestly in love with these dice.
You know what they say: “Love is Blind”
Also, with my dice.. it’s not even a matter of lots of playtime. I lose strikes as quickly a single tourney T_T.
I think there is just something about the white dice that find me that is bad. Surface to slick? Cheap Black Ink? I dunno.. it makes me all sorts of sad though
Ultimately the deal breaker for me is cost. I’m guessing their dice are fairly expensive based on what I’ve seen on their site (did some rough estimation based on other dice… it’d be like $85 for 24 dice?!). Not to say they’re more expensive than they’re worth, I’d just rather spend that money on figures.
Down boy! No, that price estimate is considerably off. If I’m not mistaken, one would get 30 dice, ten of each type, for approximately 30-35$. At that price it’s a sound and lasting investment as these dice represent a significant and laterally (no typo) tangible improvement over the dice we are all currently familiar with for MonPoc.
Though there will almost certainly be some debate over and relating to the aesthetics (which matter) of these dice they are still of a quality that is difficult to relate without seeing them personally. The etching, and almost deep scour, that is dug into the face of these dice is immense. No chance of losing any of the ink off the faces of these pretties. They are of a slightly larger, and as such, more convenient size. Their edges are less rounded and a lot more crisp, providing the roller a true roll as the dice bounce and dance over your rolling surface.
Really now, these dice are Win!
lol, Galactus. I was basing my math off of 2.5 Euros per die (which seemed to be the average cost of a die when I browsed through them) and after little digging and I found a currency calculator that, admittedly, may have been wrong.
Figuring 24 dice at 2.5 Euros gave me $85.98.
Using that same calculator and saying 30 dice for $35 (American) gave around 0.81 Euros per die. I didn’t see anything on their site for that cheap. What am I missing here?
If it’s only $30-35, that’s much more reasonable and something I’d definitely look into eventually. Since no one in the video gave solid numbers and the dice aren’t on their site yet, so far as I’ve found, I’m a little confused here.
If you’re so in love with then, Ken, why don’t you marry them? Ken’s got a girlfriend!
Guess what has two thumbs and has had WAY too much caffeine today? THIS GUY!
The price I guesstimated is from what I’ve been told from people who have bought and been in contact with the people at Q Workshop. Though now that I think about it, they might cast as much as 40$. But no matter the exact price, you know immediately once you get them where the extra money went. All their products are most exceptional.
It should be said though that if you have any questions about any current/future/past products from Q Workshop you should contact them directly. They have awesome customer service and reply even to e-mails double quick: maciej.domagala@Q-workshop.com
Thanks for the contact info, Galactus. I kept expecting someone from Covenant *cough*Ken*cough* to chime in and tell us how little they cost. Then again, he did seem to enjoy being the only person to have them… Hmmm…
Also, don’t forget that they are being shipped from Poland, so the price may actually creep higher than just the cost of the dice.
Found this which pretty clearly settles my question and gives us an idea on shipping, etc.
For 30 dice it comes out to around $48 (US) after shipping. Since I’d have to buy a set for myself and my wife that’d be around $90 (US). Not too bad, all things considered. However, figures are still the top of my list. Until I can fill the foundations when I’m setting up I’m not gonna worry about fancy dice.
Sorry, didn’t fully read that post I linked. They do say $35 for 3×10 dice (10 of each kind). So that’d be $76 for me to order enough for myself and my wife.
Hello,
Ken brought my attention to this thread here – besides the one on the MonPoc forum.
We don’t have these dice as our product on our side – as this is a custom made design and isn’t yet (will it ever be?) in our product line. So You can order those – but not trough our store but by simply contacting me.
Or maybe trough Ken in the nearest future – as we are talking about cooperation on these dice.
And to sum up the talks about the prices – it’s 35 $ / 32 euro for the set of 3 x 10 dice + 5,90$ / 3,90 euro for shipment, no matter what number of sets You order, as we have a flat shipping rate.
As for only Ken having the dice – yes, Ken is right now one of 5 people in the world that has those + 3 more that have already been sent their dice + 5 that are awaiting shipment from our workshop. This is becouse we had a fire accident and only recently (two weeks ago? Ken’s dice were first to leave our workshop!) have started producing these.
All best!
Maciej from Q-workshop
Awesomes!
I’m very keen to see you work out a cooperative arrangement and get these dice into the hands of more players.
