The days of Monsterpocalypse on a Budget are over. I will be handing the reigns of that blog over to someone more fit to cover playing under cost restrictions. From on High is going to detail every step of my journey in an attempt to become the best Monsterpocalypse player in the world. I will be sharing every moment with you as I encounter the good, the bad, and the ugly.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet me… well shame on you for not being at major Monsterpocalypse events. If you have met me or if you ask one of my close friends, you’ll find out that I love winning. If I didn’t learn so much from losing, and I mean getting the snot beat out of me by people like Steven, I probably couldn’t play games in public. However, due to the fact that I can see the benefits of getting hammered from time to time, I’m able to keep it calm and friendly at big events and tournaments.
I want to forewarn you I’m not there yet. If you’ll notice the tag line in my header above, ‘A Gamers Journey to the Top’. This isn’t going to be pretty. I’ll report on games that most would wish to never let others see. I’ll post my armies and reports to be scrutinized by all of you. Regardless, I’m going to take every loss, every victory, every game, and push myself upwards.
A lot of times you don’t have the opportunity to make it to the big events and even if you could you don’t have the right miniatures to compete in a major event, so I am also going to be taking polls from time to time before these events to see what you would like to see me use. My most recent post I asked what monster I should take to California this weekend. The crowd overwhelmingly wanted to see how Quantum Kondo did at a major event. Although I haven’t made my choice yet, this is a pretty good reason to use Kondo.
I’m leaving this afternoon for the airport and will be posting blogs daily. I will also be updating my twitter all weekend including at the big event. If you want to tune in to what’s going on, you can find my twitter here, you can also follow Team Covenant for updates, etc. here. Don’t worry, we’ll be posting exclusive video content along with pics, etc. on my blogs. So, if you aren’t up to snuff and you don’t have a twitter yet, I’m not going to force you.

Yeah, but I’m bummed out you’re not going to use Ultra Kondo. I won’t be too impressed if you win with the Quantum, but I will congratulate you none the less.
Unfortunately, I’m not going to be making it out to California, especially during a college session, so I won’t be able to defend my title.
Good luck to you, though. I love the monkeys so far, and if one could win at the California Uber Tournament, that would be cool.
