Although just using the same hotel as last year would have been the easiest thing to do, we didn’t want to take the easy way out. Over the past few months I have been talking and negotiating with several hotels and after all it, the Hampton was once again the best fit for MonCon!
You can actually go ahead and book your hotel! All you have to do is:
1. Go here (go here for more information about the hotel as well)
2. Enter the dates you want to stay, and click go.
3. In the section for ‘Group / Convention Code’, simply enter Mon
4. On the next page, choose between the three room options (all of which are only $79!)
Please note that there are a limited number of Double Queen and King with pull out beds available. If you don’t need the extra beds, please choose the King option. If you do need the Double Queen or the pull out, I recommend booking your room as soon as possible. Once they are gone, they are gone.
Last Friday we actually posted a video to our YouTube channel (if you aren’t a subscriber, what are you thinking!?!?!!) that featured Steven explaining the rules to the Cowboys and Indians format at MonCon 2010 (video found here). There might be some subtle changes, however by and large the format will remain the same for this year.
As revealed in last weeks announcement, this is the primary format on Thursday at MonCon. The day is meant to be relaxing for everyone and really just provide a fun way to get to know new players and to play against friends from last year.
First of all, what are you thinking! Seriously though, if you haven’t registered there are only 10 days left for you to register and guarantee that you get a MonCon 2011 exclusive. Once March hits, you may or may not get the exclusive. To register just click the register button on the MonCon page.
As everything is coming together for MonCon this year, we are getting extremely excited. There are some pretty awesome announcements coming down the line and at Moncon that we cannot wait to let everyone in on. Can’t wait to see you there!
