Zomg, it’s the last round of the tournament before we make the cut. There’s still divisions that are up in the air so every game can still very much matter. Fight! Win!

Also, due to the overwhelming awesomeness of all the games and the massive amount of fantastic math that the server has to do to tell us all how well Chris Young is doing in the rankings, the program has decided to take some time off until we can fix it. Congratulations to Bobb B for clinching the Walter Sobchak division.
As for those divisions that are close someone else will have to do the math if there are any other clinched divisions.

Assuming he beats you or ties you by division record even with a round 8 loss by him and a round 8 win by you, then it appears he still beats with a better SoS than you.
Above should say even if you tie by division record, because a better division record advances Tekk.

Yep, Tekkactus advances. Even if it ends up a 4-1-1 tie in division with a win by you and a loss by him, he still has the better SoS.

So, Zach controls his own destiny in the Jesus division. Should he lose to Tim, it looks like he needs a good deal of help getting his SOS up…and if Steven and Tim BOTH win, I think that division is anyone’s guess as to which of them advances.
It’s a scary game night tonight.
I’d almost pay money to see those games tonight. It’s always exciting when the playoffs start early for some people.

I’m trying to get a feel for how the top 8 are going to be seeded…it’s too hard. Chris and Theorist are both 7-1, and I can finish 7-0-1, so it looks like top 3 will be me, Chris, and Theorist. After that, it’s way too hard to tell where folks will finish. Will the next round use normal seed pairings?, so 1 plays, 8, 2 plays 7, etc?
I was curious about that as well. If you look at previous MNM events it went 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6, and 4 v 5. after the top 3 it looks like it’s going to be very close for the rest. Sense Bobb didn’t lose a game would that give him the top spot?
Will it be by record or by SoS is my question — those are not entirely guaranteed to be the same #1 thru #8. Maybe we have 7 more rounds paired once against each other semi-finalist? =D
BTW, I’m not mooting for the 16 round extravaganza.
It will be overall record, then SoS to determine the Top 8 positions.

As of yesterday, there was no Wiki link. Monsters have been all over the place, but I also would have liked to see some list of monsters played.

We would love a list of monsters as well, but given that for this MNM you can bring any monster you’d like to each game, the logistics of it are not friendly.
If anyone would like to spearhead this and make a push for it on the wiki, that option is available!

Fine. Just be sure to fill it up when you bring it back. And not a scratch! It’s really a pain to try and buff that thermoplastic hide.

Perhaps. The question you should be asking is which facade do I let advance to the next round should that occur.
