AGOT Regional: Joust Finals Video
By Team Covenant– May 4, 2012
There were lots of fantastic games player at the Game of Thrones LCG regional we hosted a few weeks ago. Few of those games were as anticipated as the Greyjoy Choke v. Greyjoy Choke that ended up being the joust finals with both Steven and Jake sitting at 3-0. Below you can watch every HD moment of what ended up being one heck of a game. Enjoy!

I think you made the right play in S&D rather than At the Gates. With the Sparr out, you would have tied for initiative, and with fewer power he would have had the choice of going first. So he would have had his plot go off first and Wendamyr wouldn’t have been able to save Asha.
Also Newly-made Lord can’t take out your Gatehouse, as it’s Limited.
Haa, that’s what I get for commenting as I go rather than watching the whole thing!
You cannot Risen from the Sea The Sparr on Threat from the North- he cannot be saved (plot text).
You played the Iron Mines->River Blockade right.
Good video gents! Look forward to seeing more. The power counters in the corners are totally boss!
You should have played Targ Burn with KotHH. That choke and save crap never would have happened.
Targ wildlings, you mean!
Yeah, well Wildlings can get choked pretty easily having all the high cost characters and all. But they are definitely fun to play!
This was incredible. Really enjoyed watching the match. The commentary and the graphics made it *very* entertaining. I’d happily watch more of those. Did a great job. And yeah, very easy to miss all the little triggers and rules – it happens!
O.O Yep, I’m a putz… Major apologies for screwing up the Newly Made Lord, Steven…
Yeah… I owe you a rematch now seeing the at least six play mistakes made… >.<
Yep… That last five minutes you can tell I got excited and completely ignored card effects… I’ma go shut my head in an oven.. XD
To be fair, it’s WAY easier to see from an outsider’s perspective watching the game after it happened. It is likely that there are at LEAST that many errors in many tournament games.
Yeah, no worries at all.
I just got done playing a game earlier today where I may have made perhaps a billion errors. It happens and I’d be surprised if anybody that day played a perfect game.
That is one sweet video. Great to see some play by play commentary like this for the game.
One mistake probably everybody missed. You can’t play burned and pillaged and kingsmoot hopeful on the same turn. They’re both limited. Everyone seems to forget that burned and pillaged is limited.
