[Video] On Privateer Press
By Zach Bunn– January 9, 2013
From the beginning in 2007, Team Covenant has focused on transforming the tabletop gaming industry into what we think it should be. By offering unparalleled support and by selling only the very best tabletop games, we set about accomplishing our mission: Gaming Reborn.
Since 2008, we have been playing, supporting, and selling products made by Privateer Press. Below is a video announcement regarding our support of products made by Privateer Press.
Update: We really should have made our stance on MonPoc more clear in the video. My apologies for that.
Monpoc as it stands doesn’t belong to PP, it belongs to the amazing community here (speaking hyperbolically, of course – PP still owns all the rights, images, etc). All of us really do believe that. We have no intention of stopping the MonPoc-related events or endeavors on this site, or changing the way MonPoc is currently handled by TC. -Steven

My opinion is based upon reading the rules themselves and attempting to play them and demoed the game myself. I did this about a year ago and felt there were/are way better playing experiences on the market. I also feel that there constant updating the rules with new editions is an indicator that either they are grabbing at gamers money or have problems writing playable rules and are putting them out without fully play testing them.
Cool. I know a lot of people like it and it’s definitely growing in popularity. Some of the rules seem weird but when you have to add in cards instead of dice I see how it could be complicated. Plenty of people here seem to enjoy it and are tossing their approval in for TC to give it a go. I still might give it a shot.
Any update on this?
Unfortunately, no.
