MonCon 2013: Covenant Maps
By Robert– March 8, 2013
Howdy Folks!
I’ve got some splendid news for all of you who are coming to MonCon, and it has everything to do with maps, maps!, MAPS!
Well not that kind of map, but the MonPoc kind!
First in the way of an announcement: ALL STANDARD COVENANT MAPS WILL BE LEGAL AT ALL MONCON 2013 EVENTS! And yes, that includes the Single Monster “Masters” tournament. The maps will be considered double-sided, with 1 & 2 going together, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6. You can refer to the Maps page for clarification! Mayhem on Memorial and Tri-City Tangle will not be legal.
Secondarily, we’ve made getting maps for those of you who do not have them much easier and affordable. We’ve created the Covenant Map Bundle, which will give you all six of the regular maps for a $50! And best of all, if you’ve registered for MonCon 2013 you will get your bundle for $40! (You will be refunded the $10 difference after you order and have a MonCon 2013 registration fee paid).
MonCon continues to shape up day by day and the excitement is getting pretty intense! Can’t wait!
Take care,
-Robert

It’s worth noting that you’ll need to keep track of the front and back of your Covenant maps, should you choose to use one in an event. If your opponent wants to use the back-side of Desert Double-Cross, you’ll want to have Havoc Harbor (I believe) on hand.
What are the deemed front and back of TC Maps?
I’m pretty sure it was said at some point that maps were distributed in a front-back-front-back order, so every two maps, in order, should be a front/back pair. I thought it was listed as such on the wiki, but after a brief glance I couldn’t find anything to that effect.
I remember that too, but what I wasn’t sure about was weather or not mayhem on memorial was the first map or not? I’m thinking that it’s a no, but I hope it’s a yes.
Well, Mayhem would take us to an odd number (and it’s not available as far as I know for anyone who didn’t attend MonCon 2011). I don’t know what the final say is on this, but I’ll be pestering Steven and Zach to clear it up.
What about the first map that was the Moncon exclusive?
that’s the only one I’m missing
It’s updated with more specifics! Mayhem and Tri-City will not be legal.
Field of Dreams is missing from the Vassal Module, can someone add it so that we have all the TC maps loaded for Vassal.
I’ve updated the Wiki about the TC maps, and how they match up. There isn’t an image for Field of Dreams.
