Just a few short hours away from Team Covenant’s fantastic store, in SW Missouri, you will find a fun and competitive Game of Thrones LCG event, The Moonboy classic during the weekend of Feb. 1-3!

Friday Feb 1st – 7 PM Melee swiss
Saturday – 11 Am Melee final table
Saturday – 1 PM Joust Swiss
Saturday – 7 pm Joust Single Elims
My home will be open to visitors looking for a place to stay. Just ask Ben and Matt, it is a cheap place to stay with only mild harrassment from the host.
If you are wanting to come, let me know so I can plan for all the guests!
I’ve been wanting to come up to this for a while. I’m down if someone wants to do a car pull situation. I’m not great with directions, so i’d rather not try to drive out by myself. XD
A carpool (or two or three) from Tulsa would be a great idea. And directions are super simple.
1) Take I-44 from Tulsa to Springfield.
2) ????
3) Profit
It’s a nice drive. I still need to talk this over with my wife and see if I can go. It is my birthday weekend so I may be able to do some convincing that way. I’d love to go.

We’re trying to send one of us for the weekend. I think Zach is the most likely candidate.
I’ll be in San Francisco for my final PhD exams. I’d rather be playing Thrones, I assure you.

The good news is that if I pass, I don’t have to travel anymore. So that’s good.
The bad news is that I’ll be in dissertation phase, and my time for Thrones will dwindle. So that’s bad.
So we should be rooting for you to fail, Buz?
That seems ironic.
Well by passing and therefore not traveling to SF anymore, I won’t be out of town for more tournaments. So root for me to pass.
I am totally in for this if I can get a ride. Any ideas on who’s car pooling yet?
Of course, I’m willing to chip in my share of gas money to whoever drives.
I’m very likely going to this also! Should be a blast!
So far, I’ve had 2 from Arkansas say they are coming (Wes and Brett), 3 from Iowa tell me they are coming (and staying at my place), and 2 from Kentucky say they are coming (and staying at my place). Likely 8-12 different players from Missouri will be there throughout the weekend (depending on when people can get off work). If we could get two car loads from Oklahoma, we are likely looking at a turnout between 25-30 over the course of the weekend.
Should be a blast and a great warm up for regionals that will start in just a few months!
Just was told that we are getting 4 from Illinois.
This is getting bigger and bigger. You Oklahoma boys better come representing!

I have built a deck to intentionally destroy your Targ KotHH deck. And should you bring something else, I shall switch decks after round 1 to still be able to destroy you!
My jealousy is growing by leaps and bounds.
What if the new chapter pack drops this week or next? Will it be tournament legal for the Moonboy?
We’ve tried that before when the Stark box came out the week before our Regional or something like that. It wound up working out ok, but I think is probably a bigger hassle overall than it’s worth.
