So it costs 3 to play Rocket Boots from my hand.  Later if, for instance, the character wearing it is about to die, I could use the ability Handoff by paying 3 again and depleting the character to handoff the Rocket Boots to another character so that they don't get discarded.  You'll find a lot of gear items with the same ability.

To all of you that still havent seen it, stop read this post and head over to youtube emmediatly!

I have a question though, when Steve plays the Rocket boots, he pays 3 but don't deplete the character.

Why? The card says pay 3 and deplete.
