He Said, He Said: The Natural Choice
By Robert– February 2, 2012
This week on He Said, He Said we talk about those “natural choices” that are just so… natural… and choiceful. I promise it will make more sense once you listen… or not. Enjoy!
If you have any topics you would like to hear discussed or would like to come on and discuss yourself, please leave us a comment, or send me an email at robert@teamcovenant.com or just drop Steven or I a line at our respective pages (http://teamcovenant.com/botounami/ or http://teamcovenant.com/galactus/). We’d love to hear from you.

Maybe the Mayans had a McRib.
oh… wow… mind blown.
“A limited time sandwich gave them limited time.”

On the subject of art, Moncon, and the intersection thereof, I'm thinking I might have a couple posters/prints to bring down and maybe auction off or something. Not sure yet; gotta see if I have time for it.
Wow, you actually remembered the download link! Thanks. A couple of children will be glad to get their weekly fix. I have to remember to bring a notebook in the car so I can remember what to be indignant about.
Now if you could only figure out how to apply the “Details” properties so I don’t have to do it every time
I’d add them but I wouldn’t want to put you out of a job.
I actually hire someone to do it for me.
I think you pretty much hit on the idea…It’s not that I think that people are playing a monster wrong, but players…myself included…tend to play a certain way, and sometimes that style does not work well with a given monster’s ability. I know that my disruptive, aggressive style makes it hard for me to pull off wins with Phobos. I generally end up too far away from my units, or don’t pass up a power attack option when I should be hanging back and blasting.
Steven, I hear you on playing for the feeling of the flavor, that’s what I enjoy most about MonPoc (and specifically the Apes). Playing for flavor reasons is much more satisfying than winning. When I’m playing as Hondo especially, I keep an eye out for crazy tactics that have a small chance of working but are too cinematic to pass up, and it keeps the game fun and sometimes it works and it brings a win. It’s important to have fun playing a game, and especially playing a game involving giant monsters throwing each other through buildings!
happy to see that the lack of big marquis banners for the Monpoc Podcast is a consistent change and was not just for my guest appearance
I really do hope to make it to Moncon – let’s hope the airfare drops to mine and mr. young’s cutoff costs…
With each consecutive podcast Steven seems to be showing up more intoxicated. I guess Robert does that to a person.
Ahhh! I hope the cat’s not out of the bag. You know Robert you could always scan those and just put a teaser piece up like you do for the TC maps.
Good listen this week. I love when you guys talk about something that makes me think more about my game play. It’s just a mater of remembering it later. Thanks for the props too. My son thought it was neat-o to hear Dad’s name on the World Wide Web.
Xavy was sitting right next to the computer when they mentioned me…he didn’t even blink.
I’ll admit, I was gushing a bit and going “That’s cool, huh?” to Xander a bit.
