A New Era: The Spoils Online Tournament Results

[cr_event_viewer event_id=’45’]

*Congratulations to Neil Crompton who has claimed the top spot at our first Spoils Online Tournament with his deck, Red Light District! You can check out his winning blog here.

A huge thanks to all participants. Let’s do it bigger and better next time! Keep tweaking those decks πŸ™‚ *

Here we go! We’re going to do 4 rounds, swiss style. Let the deck testing begin πŸ™‚

The tournament will last 4 weeks, one week per round. You have one week to communicate with your opponent, decide on a few times that work to play, and finally to play the official game. If your opponent agrees, you can do best 2/3, 4/6, or whatever you want.

Once the game is decided, you report your results by posting a blog. It is the winner’s responsibility to post a blog with the result. Ideally, these blogs contain a quick report of the game and things you’re thinking about tweaking in your deck. It’s always fun to look back on these blogs months from now to see where you were as a player!

Results must be reported by Sunday.Β Pairings will go up every Monday. Wash, rinse, repeat!

In order to contact your opponent, go to the original threadΒ here. Scroll through the comments until you find their name, and click on it. That will take you to their homepage. At the top of their page, you will find “Send Private Message”. Click that, and begin contact.

In order to check your private messages, scroll over your name in the top right of the page (once logged in) and use the drop down to navigate to Messages.

To report your matches with a blog, do the same scroll over your name in the top right, and instead click on Blogs-> New Post.

Good luck, and if anyone has any questions, post them here!

  1. I’m afraid I can’t participate right now. My Dad is in hospital (heart attack) and I have to help my mum and my two little sisters and got no time to even think about any TCG. I have to drive about 50 kilometers every day to help them besides my own business. Sorry!!!

  2. Alright Steven, bring it on! πŸ™‚

When’s good for you? My schedule’s a bit erratic at the moment, so I’ll try and fit around when you’re free. A few possible times would be best, if you can.

For the Aussies competing, we’re 15 hours ahead of Tulsa. So 11pm in Melbourne/Sydney is 8am in Covenant-land. Make sure you’re not meeting on the wrong day!

  3. Hey Wesley, for some reason I can’t send you messages.

When’s a good time for us to play our match? I’m on holidays from uni at the moment, so anytime’s good for me. Whereabouts are you? I’m in Melbourne, Australia, so I need to work out time zones etc.
