You know, it has been a while since I’ve spoiled a card, hasn’t it? Let’s fix that.

Last week I began playtesting the game in earnest, using some sleeved paste-ups. It’s kind of an eye-opening experience. Until now, everything has just been theoretical; to see the game physically unfold has been enlightening in more ways than one.

For one, it’s hard! As of this writing, the Frames have yet to defeat the entire Anti-Body hive. They’ve come close, but every now and then, something throws a wrench in the works that throws everyone off balance. Case in point, Phantom here! Phantom originally negated every six the frame it attacks rolls, while also having a 3 AV. It wasn’t even on my watchlist; I actually considered it one of the weaker 2 point enemies. Then, I rolled two sixes and a one on the first turn and my Frame got one-shotted. On the other hand, Gladiator, an enemy I was incredibly worried about printing, has yet to cause any serious issues. So it’s all up in the air, really!

I should also mention that I’ve set up a full gallery of everything spoiled thus far on my Facebook, so if you’re curious about missing anything (and you may have, since I do post some exclusive stuff there), go check it out! Here’s the link.
