Could just be me, but I’m not seeing a podcast here or on iTunes. Technical difficulties?
Try now!
Much better!
Also worth noting, we realized in a game last night that Manifest Destiny only affects my battlegroup! That means that Legionnaires and the Throne don’t benefit from it… Sad day.
Wait, so all your warbeasts effectively get a re-roll for one die on attack and damage rolls for a turn…and that includes their free attack on your feat…and you’re SAD about it? No wonder people hate on Legion
Haha. Truth.
Actually, Bobb sums it up pretty perfectly here…
Witch Coven! Yeah!
I’m finding that, at least in my local meta, not a lot of people really know how to handle the Coven. They hardly ever saw play before I took them up, because they’re so weird. That oddness makes them hard to play and hard to play against at the same time.
Fun fact you all may already know but I think is pretty clever of me to have realized: Between the three Witches, the Deathjack, and a Skarlock Thrall, you can cast Infernal Machine five times per turn. Add in the fact that it’s an upkeep, and you can have up to six warjacks enjoying the benefits of the spell each turn. And people say Mortenebra is Cryx’s only ‘jack-caster.
I can testify from personal experience that Tim FULLY exploits how many jacks he can put infernal machine on!
But the Coven can only have one of each Upkeep spell in play at a time. So you could cast it 5 times, but at the end of the turn, only the last cast would keep the spell as an upkeep.
