On the Throne of Everblight and charging:
Once the charging model has the target in its melee range, it must keep the target in its melee range. It’s not even a failure condition, the charging model just can’t go that far away. Since the Throne has the 360 front arc, it can charge right over its target, just as long as the target remains within 4″ of the Throne.
That’s what I thought. Good to know.
Always happy to help. As a dirty, dirty Cryx player, I don’t mind assisting dirty, dirty Legion players. Us guys who play the factions everyone else complains about gotta look out for each other, right?
Hey now, that LotF costs me 4 points! I really liked the talk about the ultimate win condition. That’s why when anyone ever asks, “who is winning?” I always say it’s anybody’s game. All it takes it one misplaced caster or a charge lane you forgot to block and your whole world can come crumbling down.
Lord of the Feast is such a powerful model. While I’ve never suffered an assassination from one, I have seen him utterly demolish a unit worth twice his points or more.
Indeed it is. Rather crazy, really. You always, always have to protect your caster / lock. Always.
You still have to be careful with the raven though. It’s much easier to hit a jack with defense 10-12 sitting close to your caster than the caster himself.
Never seen Princess Bride? Inconceivable!
I actually think that’s against the law.
He’ll never learn to avoid the ROUS!
This just shows that Zach’s geek cred is all an act.
I have geek cred?
Not any more, Zach. That’s what they’re saying!
Geek cred is overrated. Everyone knows the real power is with the Dorks.
More than 9 out of 10 people I know call The Princess Bride their favorite movie of all time, or at least put it in their top 3. That 1 out of 10 are people who have never seen the movie.
It’s like unfaked footage of a live allosaur. You can say you’ve never seen it, but you have to expect people to ask you why in the WORLD you haven’t taken the time.
I was going to demand you turn in your geek card, but then I realized you could never have received one. TPB is part of the application process.
I bet he’s never seen Star Wars either.
