  • You can play 2 proxy lists for 2nd edition based on the Team Covenant youtube demo game
  • Lots of prep work for 2nd edition done (redone arcs, medium arcs, medium movement,  medium collision, medium firing autorange options, etc.)

Bug Squashed – Tallon Roll 1

This new movement was introduced in the last module update – it created a conflict with the +1hull shorcut (ALT-H). It’s been replaced to avoid conflict

Here’s a recap for Tallon Rolls from now on:

Left T-Roll 3: Ctrl T (T for T-Roll)

Left T-Roll 2: Ctrl-Y

Left T-Roll 1: Ctrl-I (changed from Ctrl-H)

Right T-Roll 3: Alt-T (T for T-Roll)

Right T-Roll 2: Alt-Y

Right T-Roll 1: Alt-I (changed from Alt-H, which interferes with the + 1 hull shortcut)

New features:

  • Added 2 demonstration squads for 2nd edition play as seen in the Team Covenant video of Zach Bunn vs Alex Davy (featuring medium sized ships, TIE Fighters with crack shot, etc). To spawn them, simply type tcdemo1 (for the rebel list) or tcdemo2 (for the imperial list) in the autospawn text box.
  • Added a quick proxy guide image to show how to use those 2.0 lists in Pieces/2.0 Stuff
  • Added card art for Multi-Spectral Camouflage, Thrust Corrector, Scrambled condition, scrambled condition token, Optimized Prototype condition and token, Cavern Angel Zealot, etc as part of the last 1.0 content through the auto-updater.
  • Moved all asteroids + debris onto their own tab in the Pieces window
  • Added a new 2.0 chit tab in the Pieces window
  • Added some 2.0 tokens: Shield (toggle between regular and spent with CTRL-F), Charge (toggle with CTRL-F), Calculate, Weapons disabled

Bugs Squashed:

  • The Tallon Roll 1 shortcuts used in the last version were in conflict with the shortcuts that manipulate +1 hull and -1 hull on a ship. They are now changed from CTRL-H to CTRL-i and ALT-H to ALT-i

Long March towards 2nd edition:

  • Front arcs remade for small, medium and large. Existing arcs have been tweaked slightly to reflect new angles gotten from high resolution scans of the new conversion kit bases (1.0 arcs were NOT tampered with)
  • Lock graphic (toggles with CTRL-L) made for the medium base
  • Bullseye arcs made for all factions, all sizes – width very slightly reduced from 1.0 small bases
  • A family of 2.0 test ships are added in Pieces/2.0 Stuff for single turret, medium size. The turret is activated with ALT-F and rotated around with ALT-M or ALT-SHIFT-M, just like what was used for the Lancer-Class Pursuit Craft
  • All ship moves added for medium bases (when the ship itself moves)
  • All collision aide template position+rotation of the previously made move added for medium base (what appears after a collision occurs or when you press ‘c’)
  • All template position+rotation associated with moves for medium are added

Known Standing Issues:

  • The Single Turret firing options acts like the lancer-class mobile turret – it should instead only check a side arc if it is pointed that way and not also offer front firing options
  • The small ship single turret arc indicator is visually hard to see – it will be replaced by something better later
  • The middle ship marks aren’t present yet
  • Still no way to autospawn 2.0 stuff in general
  • 2.0 Dial graphics are still in the old first edition style
  • Some test ships in Pieces/2.0 Stuff are partially made, abandoned prototypes. Do not use.
