Amid so many expansive and time-consuming "lifestyle" games, it's nice to have something that gives the same vibe but demands nothing and evokes a tremendous amount of fun. The Auroxi have moving strongholds that are on the back of giant yak-like creatures and their tactics attach to fighters on the board, giving them access to powerful spells or causing them to suffer from persistent curses.
The Rotborn utilize a decay mechanic, reducing the strength of enemy fighters until they wither away and their tactics enter play as constructs that provide persistent effects until they're destroyed.
