We're building the best place to play tabletop games.

We've been refining our local model since 2012, and after closing during the pandemic, we're returning with a store built from scratch on land we currently own in Tulsa, OK.

Covenant 1.0

Opening in 2012, we were determined to focus extensively on play space. With a shoestring budget and an aversion to Magic, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Warhammer 40k, we pushed the boulder up the hill. But with an incredible community and non-traditional revenue streams, we found our footing.

Covenant 2.0

In 2015, we moved into a better building and invested heavily in improvements to the model - double the play space, nicer interior, and beer on tap. After five years, we closed this space due to COVID. 3.0, here we come.

The Long Road Back to Local

Tabletop games are responsible for some of my closest friendships and many of my best memories. My frustration with the status quo back in late 2006, largely centered around local and online retailers having their heads buried in the sand, was what gave me the conviction and courage to launch Team Covenant - a singles website dedicated to The Spoils. Sixteen years later, we’re working on the third iteration of our local store, often referred to as Covenant 3.0.
